AANGENOMEN

IK BEN AANGENOMEN!! Ik ben écht aangenomen en zal het volgende schooljaar dus in Amerika doorbrengen!

Vrijdag had Josha al gebeld maar toen was ik aan het werk. We hadden afgesproken dat ik haar maandag terug zou bellen maar door een storing bij EF lukte ook dat niet. Vandaag heb ik het weer geprobeerd en kreeg ik - eindelijk - het goede nieuws: ik mag gaan! Ze hebben vertrouwen in mij en hebben het officiële aanmeldingspakket naar me toegestuurd.

Dit maakt deze verschrikkelijke, regenachtige dag, met twee SE's en waarop oma gaat verhuizen, een heel stuk beter!

Hoe het nu verder gaat, weet ik nog niet precies. Eerst moet ik het aanmeldingspakket afwachten en als het goed is staat daar alle informatie in die ik nodig heb om de aanmelding rond te maken. Het belangrijkste is dat ik nu antwoord kan geven op de veelgestelde vraag wat ik volgend jaar ga doen; ik ga namelijk mijn droom verwezenlijken!

I GOT IN!! I really got exepted to the High School Exchange Year, which means I will spend next year in America!

Josha already tried to call me last friday but I couldn't answer the phone because I was at work. We agreed I would call her back on monday but because of a breakdown at the EF office this also didn't work out. When I tried to call her back today I - finally - heard what I was hoping for: I can go! They believe I'm capable of going and they sent me the acceptation forms.

This news makes this terrible, rainy day, on which I had to make two School Exams and on which my grandmom had to move, a lot better!

I'm not sure what will happen next. I first have to wait for the acceptation forms and it shoud also include the information I need to finish the application. Most important is that I can finally answer the frequently asked question what I'm going to do next year: I am going to make my dream come true!
